Fears Voice
Fears Voice
fear finds us in the land of pretend
hide from the unknown as the soldiers move in
make a sound is to tell their truth
remain in silence and survive
the bitter side of another victory is the darkness shared by the ones we don’t see
they are numbers in the unmarked grave
where right and wrong will never save
we believe the rule of the mighty and strong
until another marches in
I do not choose fear in my weakness it found me
offering me a chance, fears gift is a chance to be brave
my silence will give me another day
right or wrong is a result of my consequence
they are excuses for a behavior that can be argued
subjective is the moral compass that pushes others to accept the needle
