Fears and Tears

Forgive me now for being so slow. I just don’t know which way to go. If only I knew you loved me true maybe I’d give my heart to you. But my fears and tears from the past have chained and held me fast. And though you’ve made me feel I can do it my heart is afraid to let me go through it. No more fears No more tears My hopes and dreams never hesitated but now my fear is activated. Just wait for me to feel free again, to give my all to my new best friend. No more fears No more tears No more fears No more tears (Instrumental) You and I may win together if you help me cut through these tethers. Can you love someone with all these fears and can you stop all these tears? Will you tell me no more lies? And will you never say good-bye? No more fears No more tears No more fears No more tears. Maria makes a good point below, fear being a wall taller than it really is, fiercer than it really is and has a dragon's face on the front and a kitten's back side at the other end. Onward and upward! Fine write, Carole. Viv x

A beautiful poem my dear friend Carole. In my experience, fear is an invisible threshold which when crossed, one looks back and thinks - 'Is that all it was, there was no reason to fear' - So break those invisible chains - cross that invisible threshold and you will be free. 'One who hesitates is lost' Definitely a Fave of mine...Maria xxx

- It is a big challenge for those of us who think of themselves as "burned children" and who therefore are afraid to take a chance and love again - Take the chance, Carole - A lovely poem - Best wishes and hugs // Anne-Lise :)
