Fearlessness

Fearlessness is an awesome trait You're lucky to have it, if you do It comes with a certain bravado A belief in what you do. But here is the thing that I have found About most fearless women and men It's always easy to be fearless When there is nothing to be feared, right then. It's always easy to be not afraid When there is nothing threatening about When you are completely secure When you are safely in your house... Then it's easy to be fearless. When your children are safe and well cared for When you are healthy and happy too When you are successful in your life When you have a fulfilling job to go do... Then it's easy to be fearless. When your pantry is well-stocked When you have ample food upon your plate When you have heat and electricity A reliable vehicle to take you from place to place... Then it's easy to be fearless. If you have a fluffy pillow on which to lay your head If you have a warm place to sleep And clean sheets to lay upon And a soft and comfortable bed... Then it's easy to be fearless. I used to think I was fearless But now I don't think that I am I have a lot to be afraid of Of uncertainty, that I am. Maybe someday I'll feel fearless again Maybe someday I will But for now and in the meantime I just have to try and pay my bills. Right now its not so easy To be fearless in my life Things are just too difficult Every day is filled with strife. And so I start each and every day With a hope and a fervent prayer For things to work out as they must In God, I must put my trust. I must try my best to be fearless For my children, I know that I must. (January 22, 2011 Wausau, Wisconsin) (c) Copyright 2011 by Christine A Kysely, All Rights Reserved

Christine, this is so relevant to today..so take some consolation that you're not alone feeling this way...Try not to let it overwhelm..keep your faith and take it one day at a time, my friend..will remember you in my prayers. Love, Annalise
