Fear Vii

Fear
I saw following me, like my shadow,
the other day.

No matter,
how fast I walked or towards what
direction
still, before me, fear I found.

As the hours
were passing fast, one after the other,
fear
taller grew
more menacing and
more terrifying.

Knowing
not what to do 
my face, in desperation, towards
the sun I turned, praying,
to see Lord's divine light.

It was then that I felt 
Lord's light descending upon me,
setting hope in my heart ablaze, 
thus
making threatening fear, once and for all,  
to go away!

A 7 my friend for reminding me that what is coming is fearful but through Christ who strengthens me, fear will not take a hold of me but will pass on by.
