Fear of Possibility
I don't know how to say this,
but I am scared of you.
I am scared of the person I see
and the person I don't see.
The person I see is someone who
inspires me to breath a bit longer,
who might be to good to be true,
the person who I want to impress,
the person that gives my life meaning.
But when I dream about you, you are
a monster that chases me around my
own maze, the person that wants to
hurt or use me.
And when I speak to you my words
won't come out the way I want them to.
Because the fear kills me that you might
be the person that I don't know or see.
I fear you because I am afraid of the
unknown, I am afraid of possibility.
