Fear Not

To Him
our deepest
thoughts
are like
diamonds
glistening.
To question
is not to doubt.
It just means
we're
listening.

NOTE: I was inspired by Paul Callus's and Eileen Manassian's comment, on my poem, The Stars Remain Silent.

Great point, Timothy. Perhaps not all the answers are clear--at least not right away, but at least we make an effort to gather the facts, seek, and understand. Thought-provoking little verse. Keep those glistening diamondsof yours in the light! Always, Laura

You got it my friend. We will never know everything during our life here on earth... so it's only natural to question things. It is only when it devolves into Doubting Castle do we encounter Great Despair! - to quote Pilgrim's Progress.

I like this poem, Timothy, and I also like Justin's comment. To question is not to doubt! A top 7 rating for this short but meaningful write. [txs for the mention:)]

The wisdom in this write is so unambiguous in appreciation for knowledge of the roots of thoughts Timothy. Truth is in the question as much as in the answer, meaning is about application. I think of God's attitude toward our minds from this poem. Questions cannot threaten the truth. This is a FAV. J.A.B.

Wow, Justin. Thanks for you insight and fave! Means a lot coming from you! Yes, questions cannot threaten the truth. And another thing to think about is consensus doesn't affect the truth, either!
