Fear Keeps Him From His Instincts
Oranges pinks and reds swirl within Galmanger’s heart
He feels a kinship to those he is supposed to torch
This rarely happens, but he has opened his chakras
He has been listening to the pulse of the world source
What good is a fire dragon if he develops empathy?
Will he be kicked out of the tribe? He stamps his thoughts.
They would not be welcome in the fire clan; whose are they?
Has a demon taken over his soul? He knows not,
Only that he had better keep quiet. If he wants to survive the clan.
It is awful when they turn on their own.
And now where does he belong?
He tries to take a sabbatical, but it does not work.
Where do you think you are going? The fiercest dragon asks.
He slithers back into place between two sleeping fire monsters.
Fear keeping him from following his instincts and his soul’s instructions.
