Fear In My Hand, a Trembling In the Land

Tell me, Joe
                         Is it really so

                       If I write what I think ~
Will I be relieved of my ink

I think I know more about American politics than I do about our own. We watch CNN every night and just cant believe that this is happening to the Land of the Brave - You guys have had a rough ride, Pandemic, Trump, Impeachment, Inauguration, New President, Frightening Fires throughout, you need a break , I hope and pray that some normality will prevail with your new President and the vaccine. You keep your ink flowing my friend, we need more like you and Rick. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

Thanks for such kind words about Rick and me, Jennifer. All of us have to stick together in these trying times. Happiness and Hugs, Gershon

Scary thought gw. I am saddened daily but uplifted with your, and others, pen. Let the ink never dry up! Linda

Yes, indeed. It's a sad reality for people with original thoughts and ideas these days, where political correctness rules the roost... Thanks for your encouragement, Linda! :) gw

Good one. It's absurd that they censor those who don't agree with their views.

They censor them, and they dismiss them as 'out-of-step' with the times as well. Nice people, those 'unifying Democrat pols.' ... Thanks for your support, Juliet. :) gw

Fear of censorship is a wise emotion. You are truthful so I don’t think your thoughts are in jeopardy.

If I penned my real view of international affairs, I'm afraid I'd be watched very carefully, truth be told. -- Jeopardy Jake

Hi Gershon, Perhaps relieved of the feeling of anguish. But not your amazing ink; you need your ink to write that relief down. I enjoyed the read. Have a wonderful day:-) Alexis

I hear though that they're banning my favorite kind of ink. They say it leaves a messy 'inkprint,' kind of like a CO2 footprint, I guess. lol. Thanks, Alexis.

You're better than I am, Rama. Only time I feel relieved these days is when I emerge from the loo. lol. Thanks, gw
