Fear God Not Thunder

Sometimes with traumatic events a person goes through phases of fear
Becoming reclusive not wanting people to be near
Creating their own little bubble of safety
Never leaving the house for fear of something happening innately
God gave me back my song after trauma to the tune of poetry writing
The trauma is the thunder intended to break your spirit amongst the fighting
Pray to God to cover you in these times so you can't hear the summit
For the sights and sounds are Gods way of getting your attention within it
So, the next time a storm comes ignore the sounds and keep your eyes on the one
As God is the ruler of the world and the light after the storm when the rain is done.
