Fear Comes True
The phone call came to me today
My little sisters life is slipping away
As I prayed in the car as I drove there
Lord don't take her just give her a scare
Let her understand this can not go on
Her body her mind please make them strong
I stood at the door watching them work on you
Praying they are able to bring you through
I looked at that wild look in your eyes
Wondering why I could not recognize
The woman who's face is so distorted
Her body's shutting down the words reported
Some how doctors pulled you through
Now the power to recover is up to you
You must turn from those crutches you use
No more drugs or alcohol can you abuse
