Fear

Your heart ripping in your chest Beads of sweat running down your face Screams escaping your lips Your hope drifting until there isn’t a scrap of it left Tears running down your face Shrieks in your ear telling you to run The uncomfortable taste of your dry burning mouth The dizzy feeling overwhelming you- blurring your vision A tree leg stands up from the ground You topple over it The last trace of faith evaporates You lay on the ground motionless until the darkness decides to take you away.
