Fear lies effortlessly in portending wait to bare the intrinsic risk of chance. View it not just as impending fate nor play its victim by circumstance... 1/10/2019 "Fear is a slinking cat I find between the lilacs of my mind"-Sophie Tunnell

Excellent poem with a wise warning not to be overcome by fear, Charlie. That would, indeed, allow fear to victimize us. Like your poem even more than the great quote by Sophie Tunnell. Hugs, Carolyn

Very true, it's supposed to be for safety's sake but, it often goes way overboard. Well penned.

Hi Charlie, a wonderful write. I have always tried not to give into this emotion, so far it hasn't worked. Fear, is that emotion that sings within us all. I love the content of this write. Have a wonderful Sunday. Your friend always....Mike.
