Fear
fear is a void,
open, hungry,
waiting to devour
whatever it can
fear is a shadow
walking behind,
stealing the light
and warmth of life
fear is deathless,
nameless, faceless,
existing beyond
time and reason
fear is nothing,
yet touches everything,
drinking joy and
spitting out poison
