Ernest Hemingway's book,
"A Farewell To Arms" was
made for movie theaters
and stirred my emotions
in the year 'fifty-eight.
It was a big hit then.
Since I was with child,
Catherine awakened
such deep maternal
feelings inside me.
I felt how she felt.
Sad times ahead.
Baby born dead;
mother passes.
So traumatic.
Broken hearts;
sober scenes
full of grief.
My eyes,
full of
tears.
