Fault of a Fool
In the quiet of my heart, you still remain,
A cherished thought, a sweet refrain.
Though paths diverge, and choices made,
The love I feel will never fade.
You’ll walk your journey, free and clear,
But know I’ll hold you ever near.
No matter where your heart may go,
Mine will still love you, this you know.
And when the day comes, should you change your mind,
I’ll be here, ready, waiting, time intertwined.
For I fell in love with you, pure and true,
Wishing only the best for all you pursue.
Through all of life’s twists, in sunshine or rain,
I’ll be by your side, through joy or pain.
For the love I carry, forever will bind,
I’ll be ready and waiting, whenever you find.
