Father's Day
Father is our good friend and companion,
He guides us well.
A handsome and fashionable gentleman.
Guides us with a good education.
H e provided us with shelter and clothing,
Cared for us while maturing to our adult years.
Provided us with a beautiful church and minister,
Made teaching Sunday school possible.
The many summers at the beautiful cottage,
Days with our parents.
Taught us how to swim and dive,
Enjoy the beautiful nature.
Terra Cotta days where we visited our parents at their trailer,
Our mother would have a glass of champagne ready when I visited.
A friend in the senior years, companion to breakfast and dinners,
Good memories through the years.
Thankful to God for the many beautiful days,
We will always remember our father .
