Father's Day
Father’s Day is like a day of mourning
A day of the dead
Where young men who committed suicide
Come out of the graves to be with their fathers
I knew a young man who father did not raise him
His mother tried her best
The best schools
Her son was going to be a doctor
But for him it was not enough
No matter what she did for him
No matter how hard she tried
He wanted his father
When his father killed himself
From the convenience of drinking himself to death
No one could console the son
Not even me
The son took his own life
The son wanted to be with his father
Father’s Day is like a day of mourning
A day of the dead
Where young men who committed suicide
Come out of the graves to be with their fathers
