a backward journey
through escalator of time
black and white album

distant sky's call
open window balcony
an empty arm chair

glimpses of childhood
adding color to album
wrinkled smiling face

sudden gush of air
rewinding escalator
the arm chair rocking

I really like how you wrote this in senryu, and wrote it in a flashback sort of way-- really enjoyed this, especially that part about the black & white photos turning into color, and that wind rushing through and I never would have thought of AC to mean arm chair! I think you are getting a sense of what senryu is about too. they are difficult to do and I like the feeling you brought to the memory of your father thru the rocking chair image. I think you really miss him!
