Father/Dad/Mother/Mom (Birthday/Father's Day/Mother's Day/Thankyou/Thinking of You/Across the Miles

I may not be at home with you
'though it does not mean that you're not near
I recollect those things you've done
For me throughout the years

You've picked me up when I've fell down
and soothed my broken spirit;
played games and taught me how to grow
Worked hard to feed us with it

So my heartfelt thanks are in these words
as I think of you this way;
and all my love is sent to you
All year, not just today.

A beautiful postcard I may send ... so full of warmth, and you being well inspired have your affections well placed here. Love and happiness, my friend.
