I want to be remembered By the words that I write I want my message to be heard I pray someday that it might I want my love to be felt My heart to be told These things are pondered As my years grow old I've never left my life to chance Not under any circumstance To run and hide will never be I live my life for all to see I love my children I love my wife I'm proud to live this wonderful life I'm against injustice I'm against all hate "I am the master of my fate" *Inspired by a line from William Ernest Henley* "I am the master of my fate" Famous poetic lines 2 Contest entry
