Fate
If only life would flow with ease,
like a sailing yacht glides
with a warm summers breeze.
Life is unpredictable,
what happens next
we cannot tell,
like the devastating speed
of a raging tsunamis swell.
Some things in life
are beyond our control.
We try to plan each step,
aiming for the ultimate goal.
We are all delusional
to think life we can dictate.
When it's really nature
that holds all the aces
and deals us all our fate.
