Fatal Limerence

She simmered in the warmth of his gaze Sugar of his lips set her ablaze Skin quivered at his slightest touch Changing hues-red, crimson and such A look at herself now, in the mirror Skin pale with no trace of color Sunken eyes set in deep dark rings Painfully waiting for the end cancer brings Picturing him in someone else’s bed A thought she couldn’t shake off her head That night, she plunged the dagger He would always belong to her Written on :07/18/2016 Earlier submitted for contest:'Limerence' by Nayda Ivette Negron
