Fata Morgana

for all that I am
is in this mirror
shifty shades
and
shadows
fogs of breath
on the glossy surface
and my eyes;
tired of seeing
the traces of me
outside the frame.

Gry, Sounds like your life is both confining and restricting. You need to break out and write more poems. What does Fata Morgana mean? Is Fata father? Jim Horn

Hi again Robert! Thank you so much! I am very grateful for your support and always kind words. I saw you were the poet of the month a while back, if I recall correctly!? I didn't get the chance to congratulate you, but I do it now and it's so very well deserved!! :)
