It's hard to accept and seems strange How quickly things do rearrange What's not avant-garde Is now trash to discard As what was is subject to change

Yup, a throwaway world. My daughter says I keep too much stuff. My mom kept a lid with colored rocks I made for her I first grade. I wrote a poem for her on poetrysoup, called Lillian. The Rose poem is sort of made up. Breastfeed my kids. But, no one else :)

Yes it is a packaged and marketed bundle of things. I think things are going to change at increasing speed now. I see it in the things we have available to us. It's all rather amazing and I am sorry that I am not younger only for the reason that I would get to see more change.

I have records and tapes from the good old days. Can't seem to get myself to throw them out. Maybe one day they could make a comeback? hahaha.

They certainly could. They are like a time capsule. They will be museum pieces perhaps. Imagine and eight track! Haven't seen one for a while. I used to have a wire recorder. I am very sorry I gave it away. They were amazing devices.
