Fascinated By My Hand Lines

Circling my thumb are two lifelines They are one at the beginning But at about age sixty they split Evidence of a double life Being older than this, I wonder at them Has the split begun? Will I know when it happens? A mystic star in the center of my palm takes my attention Has she always been there? I reach for my palmistry book Fascinated with my own skin

I am not into palmistry. I do have a blue vein on the flipside of my palm a y ;)

My lifeline splits about midway, which makes me wonder if my severe heart attack thirty years ago was foretold ...maybe the midpoint in my life. I think probably so, but I won't make it to 100...nah. Interesting anyway.

I used to read my teenager's friends "lines" - they loved it and it made me a "cool" mom.
