Farmer's Market

Deep dark clouds drift through my day
Threatening rain showers typical of May,
On the horizon I see sunshine coming my way
Certainly, I hope so, for this coming Saturday.

For it’s opening day at the Farmer’s Market
I’ll drive my car there, have someone park it,
I’ll shop ‘til I drop with nothing on my docket
Then stupidly pay too much at the supermarket.

Aw, I'd say 'happily' instead of 'stupidly...' Cheers, Farmer Gershon

Gershon, you're a nicer fellow to yourself than I am to myself. When I discover I passed up a good deal at the Farmer's Market only to pay more at the supermarket, I feel pretty stupid! Thanks.

Actually I was dreaming, Tom. I love the Saturday Farmer's Market, but this Saturday I'll be recovering from surgery in the hospital. I'm sure I'll be fine!
