Farmer Fred Fancies
Farmer Fred fancies, red wine and daisies.
Favorite foods for grazing, steak, potatoes, and gravy.
Finds Spring’s tulips tantalizing, Autumn’s apples amazing.
Looks with wonderment at woods of walnut, oak, and cherry.
Fred finds glory in his morning cup of coffee.
He takes great glee, in his afternoon cup of tea.
Farmer Fred fancies most his faith and his family.
He’s mad about his light of love, a gal by the name of Nancy.
One last fancy I know is true, Fred really loves the red, white and blue.
For I have often heard him say and every night I know he prays,
“God bless the U.S.A.”
