Far From Here

Poem: Far From Here
Edited by: Sparkle Jordan

I live
  far from here,
  so very far
from the hills
  where cable cars
run:

                      I live far
                      from
                      here -

So very
far
from
the
Regency Hotel
on
Marina Green -

I live
so very
far
from
sports cars,
Rolls Royces,
and
Limousines -

Where I live
there are
no
carousel
horses
in
picture
windows-

Or
baby grand
pianos -

Nor
are there
yacht's
in the
 harbor,
or
sailboat's
sailing
on the sea -

I live far
from here -

so very
far
from
material
things -

And
from
where I live,
there's
no ocean -

or
"just so"
potted
flower's,
in
bay front
home's
up
Lombard
street -

I live
far
from here -

So very
far -
