Far Away Love

On a distant shoreline
far, so far away
live loved ones
that I know
and held
not so very
long ago.

They live and breathe
engage in life
though I do not see
but I know that
it must be.

I see the pictures
see the smiles 
see the places
and all the while
i wonder
when will they
see me?
