Far

The voices faded.

It's finally quiet.

The white ball on the window meows at me.

The aches leave me be.

The shadows are scared away.

I see them, their smile bright.

We all lay down, blankets wrap us and shield us from the world.

We watch the city below.

I hear a knock at the door.

The pacing stops.

I'm alone.

Its so far away.

Why is it so far away?
