Fancy-Free 5-25-17

I can’t get close to people,
I’m fancy-free.
I hide in the shadow of the steeple,
for eternity.
I see the world from my peep hole,
as my own VIP.
My brain is as sharp as a needle,
Yet my soul has abandoned me.

I like your little rhyme, it flows smoothly. Being close to people is a real challenge, and it often eludes me too..... Welcome to PoetrySoup
