Fancy Words

Fancy words long and eloquent
are daily spoken and ill spent
Spouting words most don't understand
To look tall and in command
Does one want to really be heard
Or is it pride in guise of lovely word
The gift of gab is gab indeed
most who use it seek to deceive
Liars lawyers politicians
Well dressed lounge lizards with evening ambitions
Spiders they are with their tangled webs
Placed just right so look ahead
If you can't make sense of what they say
Watch out and be careful or you will be their prey
