Famous literature?
This Saturday, like many others, I got up late
it was almost ten, my hands trembled,
low blood sugar
I can live with diabetes while keeping the balance
watching what I eat and drink
Last night, fed up with the fake news on TV
where politicians spoke about how bad Russia was and
their undying love for Ukraine while secretly longing
for the days before the North Stream
was blown
up by the Americans, helped by the Norwegian Navy
Jens Stoltenberg, the General sec, A Norwegian
is nothing but an errand for the USA's interest
I picked up a book that was said to be thrilled by
John Grisham
After reading 23 pages, I felt like I was reading a recipe
the hero is a lawyer who defends a man accused
of murder, but we already know he is innocent
so why? Not so the dastardly prosecution wants
the man hanged.
I looked at the novel again; no doubt, the writer
was famous and sold millions of copies, like it
we are dealing with success.
since I have no wish to read the whole book
I will never know how it ends
