Family Tree
Sometimes, more often than we'd like to admit
Some people who decide their life is not worth while
Will find a nice quite place in solitude
A nice peaceful tree with many branches
Enough room to hang their head
And plenty of space to find time enough to avoid being seen
Swinging their sorrows, getting some fresh air
Quite often after the search had been called off
They had been found, a bit too late
The family and friends, will miss that once person so much
They will return with a rope without a swing
So they can be at rest with their dearly departed friend
Though I agree it may sound sad
They other hundred or so people just felt for the loss
And could relate to the story of the one who never had a chance
The news spread of this wondrous place
In the center of the woods where he ended the pain
So many branches, so much space
Too many ropes, dangled all over the place
But the spot looks as it did before
Just a little less to explore
