Family Ties

Fate makes a date with strange decrees; Appoints and hurls each man a path; Moves each estate just as surely; Indwells and swirls all living stuff; Lines each to each as kin and kind; Yet moulds our tribe with common needs; Tricks us to reach for peace of mind; Implants a pride that each might seed; Exults the pulse of plain good choice. Sells each a style with curious feel; Hides wild impulse in feisty poise; Endows odd wiles that seek to heal; Assigns appeal in paradox: Listens as will lives in-the-box.
