Family Rainbow Circle

Rainbow circle never ends
Mother, sister, daughter, friend
sitting in your circle there
colorful skirts fanned
as you each braid
the other's hair
laughter's melody
fills the air
joy & anticipation
for the dance
tonight is shared
Captured now forever
image burned into
this cowboy's heart
reminding me forever
that a circle
has no end
many years
from now
this scene
will replay
Grandmother, Mother, sister, daughter
Rainbow circle
never ends
