Family Pictures
Pretty pictures hang on the wall
A family, a life
One we may recall
There was love and hope
Joy and fear
The kids might complain and mope
But the bond was so great
The ties never shook
It was almost as good as fate
The happy was as good as the sun
It was just as bright and loving
But the sad was like a gun
Forever feared and avoided
Sometimes confronted head on
Running through your veins distorted
The walls almost breathed alive
Apart of the misshaped family
It had a heart beat, a drive
Do not compare your family
For you need to be warned
Your life wont be good as this simile
