Family Gathering

Dusk sweeps the willows
While children's wild laughter
Scatters the fireflies

Children's wild laughter scatters the fireflies...I can actually picture this in my head! Beautiful imagery and such a 'happy' use of fireflies! You'll find a poem on Fireflies in my portfolio as well. Hadn't I stumbled on this piece I wouldn't have related fireflies with anything other than misery & sacrifice!
