Family

by Michael J Falotico Family is something I lost for a period of time.. I lost track what was important and what was mine.. On the stairs of life I've certainly have missed a few.. I laid in a bed of old rather then new.. No light from the sky or voices in my head were needed to show me a course that I was led.. Just Family and the most simple act of caring and love is all it took to open my eyes and see above.. I'm there crutch when life is hard and their in need.. And they are my crutch when I'm down and can't be freed.. With both crutches we walk together tall and strong.. Wonderful ,, Michael.. what an inspiration she can make through poems, contest and friendships... I love your last line.. You know me and my family... have no tune or words... its just me and my dad, and thanks god.. that i have my own family,... created by me... now that's music... sadly i had to turn off the old radio... with the station brothers,, and some sisters...lol... take care,..p.d

People who are lucky enough to have families are truly blessed, Michael. There are a lot of loners in this world, walking around without the "crutch" they need so much. Beautifully written! Love, Carolyn

Michael, Glad u show how important family is this heartfelt write...the most simple of love and kindness is displayed every day through our families and it's there where we should begin to pour our energies. a perfect 10 Michael but our rating only goes to 7 but family is the key to life and u and I know this to be true for without family life is pointless ... an excellent stirring and emotional write my White Knight as your Jersey Girl is in family mode poetry as well..with luv always ..forever..
