Families Are Forever

A family is a special group
Of people that you love
And share your life with
When you are sent from Heaven above.                                                       

It is a very special bond
Growing up in the same home
The joys and tears unite you,
And entwine your hearts for 
All the years to come.

Happy times and sad times
Blend the years and soon you’re grown.
Each one leaves to begin anew
Their own family and their own home.

But, memories never fade,
Of that first family so dear.
Some memories are happy- some are sad.
Even in old age they still bring a tear.

But, never would we trade places
With any other family we meet.
For, our family is the best.
No other one could ever compete.
Families are forever.
