Familiar Seasons

I cry for the seasons, They change so often, A familiar feeling, A kindred connection. They carry on without a question, And we patiently wait, For our favorite season to arrive. I wish for myself to be gleaming with excitement, When Change arrives at the doorstep of my thoughts. Instead of fighting the inevitable force of my negative aggressions, I will gracefully hang my ever changing visions from a stained glass vine. I will accept the transitions of thoughts, Just like the seasons so easily transition to the earth’s melody.
