False Securities
Scars never completely fade
Nightmares enter the mind
When the world fades to grey
Fading away from all your insecurities
Pushed away from all these
False securities

I’ll put this bullet to my chest
I’m done being caught up
In this mess
Hurt is all I ever see
So just kill me
Pull the trigger!
You’re pushed one way
To another
You’re there one day
Gone another
Your arms are getting pulled apart
Still no one knows who you are
No one knows what you want
You say

You wanted to believe
In this family you thought
You once had
You want to be
The hope you wanna see
But nothing ever goes your way
No one gives you the time of day
You say
I’ll put this bullet to my chest

In this mess
Hurt is all I ever see

Can’t you see
They will always let you down
Can’t you see
We will always let you down
Sin is carved in our bones
You will always be left alone
Don’t trust in me
Trust in God
He is the hope
You need to see
You say

I am a failure
I fail all my endeavors
But I still have everything I need
God is all I need to
Succeed!
