False Pretenses of Home Life

We all like to live
In our delusions,
With all the little
Things we want to be
True.

We like to believe
That everything is
Fine
Normal
(And if nothing else)
Will be alright.

They say that acting
Takes passion,
But all it takes is
Pain.

The world is our stage
And we must perform
To convince the audience
That all is well
In this play.
