False Love
You tell me you love me,
But then you walk away,
You gave me a false promise,
You said you would stay.
I give you my heart,
But you toss it on the ground,
Like it is nothing,
Then say, “True love can never be found.”
You hug me tight,
But then you push me back,
You say I am beautiful,
Then you call me fat.
You said we were meant to be together,
You call me the apple of your eye,
But then I find out,
Your words were a lie.
I’m tired of being hurt,
Especially by you,
After all the false love,
You tell me we’re through.
