False Love
All is well that remaineth true,
In matters of heart and soul alike,
But when feelings are false and love is through,
Cupid's arrow no longer charms but strikes,
And with such a blow as if to say,
"Thou shalt never love again",
But wits retained, a heart broken as it may,
The spirit remains, transcending the pain,
And the phoenix shall rise, from ashes revived,
Where fair Troy once held it's ground,
To be free of pain and love contrived,
For vices lost now mean virtue found.
