False Followers List Why do poets have us on their main list of followers Yet...to be blunt here... Never comment on our poems? If you are doing this~ it's silly. Worse! Those who commented for months and stopped~ How hurtful can you be, feigning loving humanity? Let me go. And all others that you do not read. That's just being kind. Be loving to your poet-kind. Stop being a fake follower. I beg you. Thank you. It won't take long to drop my name! Keeping my name there...totally lame! Panagiota December 18, 2019

I leave poet's names on my list tho' I may not visit their page. I leave their names as a sign of sincere respect for their artistry and talent. That does not change due to my having forgot or my having not the time to read and comment. Time --there never is enough...God bless..

Hi, again...I have to keep names there or I will forget. And the never repliers are being removed. Sorry, it's crass to do that. I reply to them always...them? No. I wrote this poem and interestingly, my list of follwers expanded? Thanks to all who did! Panagiota xxx

My friend. Some forget, some simply no longer have the time, the energy or the motivation to come here as often to read, write and/or comment. In my case it is lack of time and forgetting due to an illness, not a deliberate act on my part. I am old and losing my ability to keep up. Plus there are certain poem forms that I do not care to read. Your fine poetry comes from a true poet!! God bless...

Thank you, Richard. Your points are well made. I remember finding the courage to post my first poem here...hesitantly because I'd never shared any of them with people I didn't know. So when I read so many newbies with few or no comments, I hope they're not discouraged. lol at your PR man. Please read the comment I left for you on your Strawman story last week..yes, story.

Many may say it's only sour grapes., and perhaps rightly so I find. Truth be told I have enough to bottle my own vintage wine. For naysayers you may label me trite, I'm okay with that. Because I can always hire my own PR man. But their are so many new voices on the Soup, who can't afford time away from job & family, though still deserving of an even chance. -Richard

Excuse my intrusion into your conversation...Richard and Panagiota, but I've always felt being chosen potd is not an honor because the unfairness of whatever way in which they are selected does not pay proper tribute to everyone on the site. One of my beefs... oh I've had so many over the last 4 years.

Richard, you are a riot! On my iPad, version 1. cannot add pictures. I am not wanting! Just requested...people who truly don't like me, to drop me. It's OK. Maybe at Christmas my daughter and I Can figure out, how to add a widget as you said.. A bowl of rice?LOLOL. You have a good point with the vision thing. I don't understand what size it should be at all. And on the holiday, the last thing we need to do is spend hours in front of a PC Thanks RICHARD Panagiota xxx

It's an adult version of standing atop a pile of sand. Too bad..the sand shifts..oops..)))) Hope things are good in Chicago..in SF where I do not live, people are biting store owners and using grocery aisles as toilets. I cannot fathom that. Also, if you come to CA, it's perfectly OK to steal 925.00 worth of merchandise. CA...OMG..a zoo PANAGIOTA

Hi Panagiota, I get why you are frustrated. I may be guilty . However, I do try to follow and be supportive to soupers that follow me. But in all honesty it's hard to keep with all the soupers you follow, when you've been here awhile. But there's no excuses I must check the folk I "follow" more often. Also folk may not be around that much, This happens alot during the holiday season.Have a wonderful day:-) Alexis

Alexis....no has nothing to do with you. Mostly males NOT females. I was clearing my own list just now. None of us can reach all we want to. I cannot. I found names, I have no memory of them...bye bye to those. I Have been here for almost a year and my list grows! But those who don't read me are deleted. Hope the males get off my list or I might soup them and request it.... More followers were added after my post...that's hysterical. Thank you Alexis. PR
