Falltime

Time is endless, my friend
Days and nights past
And age blooms and fades like withered flowers
Time, it takes everything away

We have no time to lose
For thee we must scramble a chance
Hidden in the hearts nourishing seeds into sprouts
Too slow for us to leave

Tick-tock the clock taps
Seconds, minutes, shifting by oh so smoothly
Leaves fall as September comes
Grass grows back when spring falls back

Time is dangerous
The rolling of darkened waves in the never ending sea of despair
The blackness in deserted canyons like a mansion of depression
The blazing fire burning on hopeless hearts

When we count the clock hands that shows the time
Would we think about the time flowing past
The streams of water moving each day
Time leaks, but it’s still endless, my friend
