Alexis, Yes that is a beautiful photo. In my garden I have the Maximillian Sunflower next to Mexican Petunias and they look nice together. The MP has lavender to purple blossoms and the golden of the MS shows off. I hope they do better next year though. Thanks for your visit to my page. Sara

Brian, This morning's weather reminds me of November when we would want to get out and get a Christmas tree but have to put it off except it isn't as cold as November gets. It will come unless something drastic happens. Thanks for the visit. Sara

Andrea, The faint bit of light that was coming through the clouds made the Maximillian Sunflower come to life that morning. We have pouring rain this morning. Thanks for the visit. Sara

Soon the sunflower will hang its had to produce oil.

Victor, This particular plant is called Sunflower but it is not like the ordinary Sunflower. I don't think it would produce edible seeds or oil. I need to look that up to see. If everything is perfect, it is usually covered with blooms but much smaller than regular sunflowers. Sara

Tom, Thanks. I do like those Maximillian Sunflowers because they bloom late September and early October to brighten the garden. We are doing better but still have some fatigue. Sara
