Falling Star

Falling from above
Shooting across the sky
It twinkles and glitters
Catching my eye

Here for an instant
Gone when you blink
So enjoy the moment
It's never as long as you think

A diamond gliding across the sky
Brightening the dark of night
A falling star so precious
Out of reach, not out of sight
