Falling Notes

Falling notes
Mask an already present disguise
Fate is tempting
But he doesn’t believe in it
We’re not calm and quiet
We speak stately and pleasant
But the signals at the end of the bridge
Shout ‘Man over board’
And peering down, it’s you
Water-filled lungs and all
